Delville Wood (2021)

17 July 1916, when at roughly 4 am the German Army launches a massive artillery barrage that displaces many South African Troops. John, Harry and Emily all end up together in the woods, separated from the other soldiers during the barrage. Harry makes it clear that the only chance they have to survive is to retreat to the reserve trench line. They go on this journey which sees them encounter small pockets of German troops. Harry is initially very hostile and sees himself as better than Emily and John, however after John saves his life and Emily assists Harry in treating a wound, Harry becomes more comfortable with the other two. The film develops further, and the trio gets to know each other and start understanding and acknowledging their differences.
