PikaPetey, king of The Shibas of VRChat is assassinated while performing at a show by an unknown assassin. Detective Burgers and his assistant are put on the case to solve this murder case. While at the crime scene in the theater, they discover their first lead, a very (special) shiba named Makabear who was gagged and tied up inside his house. The investigation though leads to a dead-end with Makabear and interrogations of numerous witnesses and creatures of interest don't give any more clues. But then Burgers believes he might have his guy with Redscwerel, who is found guilty and sentenced to death, but Burgers doesn't feel this is right. He's then called by the new king of the Shibas, Evan, and after a revelation with some totally-not-drugged chicken wings, Detective Burgers goes back to Makabear. He discovers Makabear lied about his intelligence, but is then killed in front of the detective by an unknown assassin. Burgers is distraught and once again stumped in his investigation until a much shorter lead comes forward, but is again killed before any evidence can be brought forth. This time, the detective chases the assassin and nearly catches him. After some more investigations and long montages, Burgers resorts to the traditional tracking method of sniffing for their scent, in which he tracks down the assassin and is led to a secret cult. The assassin is killed by the mysterious cult leader in a white robe and the detective is captured. But the assistant followed him and brought the cops to raid the cult's temple. The detective runs after the cult leader and after a very well-choreographed sword fight, the detective reveals the cult leader is just a fat, lazy, and stereotypical internet artist patron. King Petey, alive and well, kill the cult leader and reveals a body double was the one that got assassinated. So Redscwerel is not executed, Petey is put back on the throne, and it's all a happy ending. Yeah.
