Once upon a time in Florida came a world called Floridaland. A giant peninsula full of marshes and swamp-lands, beaches by the many, lakes around ever corner, free roaming alligators, hundreds of species of birds, and the rare Florida panther. In this delicate and peaceful land is a world serene, but every coin has a flip side. One where tourism brings in millions upon millions of visitors a year. A place full of world-famous theme parks, hotels, restaurants, casinos, busy streets, crowded roads, and bustling cities. This is a place where both worlds exist together; but with the rise of over-development, mass population growth, and urbanization, can we peacefully co-exist together? Or are we threatening not just our own infrastructure but the structure of this beautiful paradise?
