Laji'n: Birds Without Homeland (2019)

Birds without homeland is a film told by Abdelilah, Abdo and Shas, who left their war torn country to find safety in Europe. Although it focuses on them, their story shares similarities to the stories of thousands of people who have had to leave their homes and face uncertainty. Set in one of the coldest ever recorded winters of Greece, Abdelilah, Abdo and Shas are caught in an in-between where they find strength within each other to find hope as they wait for the biggest decision of their lives. Where will they build their future and where to find a new home. It is a documentary that doesn't focus on the problem, but on the people living it. On the uplifting experiences and friends who help them get through the day, but above all, it is about hope.
