Irene Marco

Mexican born award-winning London based drama and commercial director. She moved to London in 2012 and since then she has directed commercials and short films which have screened in BAFTA and Oscar qualifying film festivals. In 2019 she was named one of the Badass.gals which is a project by The Young Creative Council launched on International Women's Day 2018 to celebrate young female creatives that are already going above and beyond. Most recently in 2019 she directed the mockumentary "Home for Aged Time Travellers" which is on the festival circuit. In 2018 she directed the documentary "Birds Without Homeland" which won best documentary at Thunderdance Film Festival and was official Selection in Underwire and a best film finalist in Oaxaca Film Festival.
