No party without Kaseko. This typical Surinamese dance music also has a jazzy variety: Kaseko Jazz. A young band gather in a small recording studio to practice the classic 'Kownu Oloisi Lasi' (The King Has Lost His Watch). They receive a surprise-visit from their heroes: famous Kaseko Jazz musicians. Unfortunately, the older generation is not impressed. They reproach the youths for jumping to jazz without grasping the soul of Kaseko first. Will the youngsters succeed in convincing the old guard that the future of the Kaseko Jazz is in good hands with them? Will both generations join in concert?
