José Martí is Cuba's national hero and idol f the revolution. Schools, streets, and parks bear his name. But in Havana's "Martí Sportspark", people have created their own island, a unique microcosm. Everyone can do what they want, and nobody bothers them. The protagonists share their hopes, fears, convictions, and ambitions in a poetic capture of a land in flux.
