MexZombies (2022)

Two socially awkward teens find themselves in a nightmare as a zombie apocalypse erupts in their gated community on Halloween night. Armed with nothing but their wits and a burgeoning friendship, they must navigate a landscape of blood, guts, and personal revelations. As tension builds, the film masterfully utilizes slow-shuffling Romero-esque zombies to keep the stakes high. Meanwhile, the strong rapport between main protagonists Tavo and Chronos adds depth to their quest for survival.
