It's 1989. Every night, sitting by the window, contemplating the sky, Dori a little Albanian girl is waiting for her mother's return from France. She was told her mother is participating in a space mission, a secret program supported by both countries. As the time passes and mother is long missing, random signs bring Dori news of her existence beyond Albania. With the fall of the Berlin Wall and the end of the Cold War, suddenly Albania opens up to the rest of the world. From now on, the little girl is allowed to look for her mother. More than a decade later after her mother's death, Dori realizes she has been lied to all along. The whole thing is an imaginary tale. Angry and ashamed, she feels betrayed by those she trusted the most. Her time was spent in vain waiting for the end a fake mission. No one was looking at Dori from above, nor did her mother ever reach for the stars. Whatever memories remained from those years are now in question. Facing the bitter truth, she has to make an important choice. Miss her mother's funeral or expose her father for the big lie.
