Friends of the shade

The Flemish 27-year-old Sarah is converted to Islam and married to the 29-year-old Mert of Turkish descent. Sarah gets invited to a TV show to share her vision as an Islamologist on current topics. After the program she becomes the victim of an acid attack because she is seen as traitor by some extreme right-wing members. With this she falls into a coma with no prospect of awakening. The suspects get arrested, but due to legal errors they get released as quickly as possible. Mert will not accept this and to gain justice he occupies, together with the members of the spiritual art group 'The Friends of the Shade', the 'Grand Place' in Brussels after their performance that is organised by the European Union in honor of Rumi . After this action he gets support from humanitarian groups who join them in a huge way. Counterparties also want their opinions and the result is a chaotic situation in which the action completely derailed to ideological war.
