The Weight on Their Shoulders (2019)

Kriss, a troubled teenager in London has been kicked out of school again. With a prison record to his name, his present situation and future is slowly eroding away from him as his concerned Christian mother tries what she can to change his ways by looking towards the teachings of Christianity and the late Dr Martin Luther King Jr for hope. In Kriss's new school, an encounter with a prejudiced white teen, Phil, and a fight lands both Phil and Kriss in hospital where they are forced to see each other as human beings for the first time. In this way, both boys come to an understanding of each other's struggles and fragility as human beings.
