Hartwig Seeler - Gefährliche Erinnerung (2019)

Private detective Hartwig Seeler is given the task of finding a young woman who has disappeared without a trace. Her father Felix Kepler suspects a kidnapping or a violent crime. He cannot explain otherwise why daughter Evelyn has not contacted him and his wife for two weeks and is also missing at work. After all, there are neither family problems nor other reasons for the up-and-coming lawyer to silently burn all bridges behind her. However, Seeler does not find any evidence of a crime. He stumbles across a wire transfer to a mysterious connection on a Croatian island. Their spiritual approach of using hypnosis to find the key to psychological trauma appeals to the detective beyond his work. Seeler wrestles with the accidental death of his wife, and has been racking his brains about the unexplained circumstances ever since. The private detective faces his subconscious suspicions when he infiltrates the group's camp and gets involved in a hypnosis session with Amanda. The healer also treats Evelyn, who is in an unstable condition. The reason for this makes Seeler doubt his client: There is a serious reason why Evelyn wants to break away from her previous life.
