A Fable (1968)

Marcel Marceau mimes the story of a man in love with life, until a child inadvertently tramples on the man's prized tiger lily. Angered, the man builds a wall around his land to isolate himself from his neighbors. A series of mishaps occurs, and the man builds his wall higher and higher only to fin that his paradise has become a prison. A film about the value of building friendships, and the dangers of insularity. The presence of a beautiful blonde neighbor contributes a vital, but innocent adult element as well.
