The film combines three acclaimed plays of the Brazilian theater: Razor in the Flesh, Lilac Lamp and Two Lost Souls in a Dirty Night. Focused on exploring political and social issues, while also bringing renowned literary work to the big screen and preserving Brazilian's cultural heritage, the film merges, in a single-story, the classics of Plínio Marcos's oeuvre. It is on the 13th floor that the characters, in a volatile relationship between dominators and submissives, live. They are always mistreating each other, in conflict over sex, money, and power, live in a busy building in Downtown São Paulo, which once was a luxury hotel in the 1950s.
