The Banger (2020)

The story takes place in Slukdorf, an imaginary town in northern Bohemia, where all the factories closed after the revolution and were replaced by non-stop gambling halls, casinos and hookers. Kamila, an 18-year-old who is fed up with life in the town like that, works in one of these nonstop slot machines for the desperate. And she's even more fed up with her own family. A devoted mother and a father who deals in car wrecks and calls himself Bourák. A stodgy teenager with a beat-up pink Cadillac who goes rock and roll with a girl who looks like she's straight out of an old American bra catalog. Plus, her mother is being followed by her boss, a local gangster who's clearly out of his mind. So Kamila figures she's got to step in and make Mom finally step on Dad's pointy shoes.
