From the early 1900s, Norwegian companies were active in whaling in the Antarctic, until 1968 when it ceased to exist for the Norwegian expeditions. In the film, previously active whalers describe everything we need to know about the whaling, including all the jobs, what it was to be at whaling, and life at home and abroad.
