Gabriel Lopez has done time, been stabbed, been bitten by police dogs, and been shot at by rival gangs and authorities alike. After years of a violent and confusing existence, he is ready to make a man of himself, going back to school in his 40s, removing his hateful tattoos and readying himself for an honest life focused on his family.
