Runway Dreams (2019)

Runway Dreams captures behind-the-scenes on "what it takes" for the aspiring model Sky Pahl and emerging fashion designer Phoenix Ba to make it to a major runway. The documentary is an intimate look into their lives, including everything that a model needs to do to maintain measurements and to overcome other challenges before being accepted to the prestigious Toronto and New York Fashion Week. The film also looks into challenges faced by an Canadian Asian emerging designer, such as the high runway fees and lack of support from the industry, as well as the impact her career choice made to the family lives, in particular finances.
