Jade, Lucy and Melanie are drawn together in solidarity within the grey interior of a juvenile institution. With each of them having had the hardest start in life, their vulnerability has given them the biggest front. Caitlin a rumoured baby killer catches the attention and disgust of ring leader Jade who has no option but to teach her a lesson. Being the most misunderstood girls of their generation, can they find it within themselves to trust life or even each other in an effort to survive being alone and institutionalised.
