Ernest Thiel (1859-1947). Banker. Patron. Finance pioneer. Around the turn of the century Sweden's perhaps richest person. At his passing in 1947 he was destitute and forgotten. The film reconstructs, through unique documents, the strange handling of the Thiel's memoirs.
