You Can't Make This Movie (2018)

Tired of the curveballs life has been throwing at her and shortly after being dumped by her boyfriend, Via (Vitória Vasconcellos) decides to respond by making a movie. Her best friend Jiff (Aaron Kent) and her psychologist (Shirong Wu) think that this is a horrible idea, they struggle to understand and fail to support Via's cinematic ambitions. You Can't Make This Movie is about the mental struggle of feeling incomplete as well as the frustration of not being understood. This is Vitória Vasconcellos' directing and producing debut.
