Shimmer Volume 24 (2009)

Decent, but that's about it. Most of the matches failed to stand out. The Haze/Matthews rematch was a letdown compared to their first one on Volume 23. The Homewreckers and The Experience scored wins that meant nothing in the long run, as both teams would soon be gone from SHIMMER. Allison Danger was decidedly not in ring shape yet, which made her return here ill-advised and took some steam out of her feud with Portia. Wesna and LuFisto had a good match, but it was most memorable for referee Andy Long accidentally standing in LuFi's way as she attempted an outside dive--a mistake that, real or worked, got him major heat for a while. Melissa and MsChif were slaughtered by Del Rey and Kong in an ugly main event and suffered a long post-match beatdown. SHIMMER needed a good showing on Volume 25 to recover from this. (Fortunately, they got one. )
