Shimmer Volume 23 (2009)

A good show to open up 2009. The Australian invasion continues as heat magnet Kellie Skater and Lance Storm trainee Tenille make their debuts. Melanie Cruise and Annie Social also make their notorious first appearances. Cat Power and Nicole Matthews continue to improve, as Matthews' match with Daizee Haze goes to a time limit draw and nearly steals the show. Lacey returns to manage Rain and Jetta, but their match for the SHIMMER Tag Team Titles ends in sort of a 'Dusty finish' (a major disappointment that did not go down well with the fans). The other main events are very good, and Chif retaining the belt against a red-hot Serena was the right decision.
