Shimmer Volume 72 (2015)

This one starts slow and ends strong. Havok/Melissa could have been sick but is just a standard brawl, with a lot of those contrived striking exchanges that became tedious a long time ago. Some idiot in the crowd thinks he's a comedian and won't shut up. The commentary is also an issue. Dave Prazak was never great at the desk, but he really loses the plot here. (Thankfully, you can turn him off if you wish. ) On the bright side: Thunderkitty/Kraven is a surprisingly hard-hitting encounter, Mayumi Ozaki laying into Heidi Lovelace with a baseball bat is crazy, Veda Scott is a very entertaining heel, Nicole and Kay Lee do a great job in the main event, and the tag titles match is a thrill. It's unpredictable and exciting and elicits real emotion from the fans. I LOVE the Kimber Bombs, and if any team was going to dethrone Skater and Nakagawa I'm glad it was them.
