Final Call (2019)

Three men, all of them different generations, in a dive bar on a Saturday night. The uppity young bartender complains non-stop to his middle-aged mentor, as he resents that the old man drinking alone at the bar is keeping him from attending a party with younger friends. The middle aged waiter is a sounding board, but also a voice of wisdom -- and empathy. Based on the short story "A Clean Well-Lighted Place," by Ernest Hemingway.
