Du soleil dans nos yeux (2017)

Cedric and François are friends. One of them comes from Paris and is a filmmaker, the other one comes from Roma and is a detective. Both travel to Dijon: Cedric wants to visit his father and François, his daughter. The father disappeared. During this visit, Cedric proposes to François to come with him. He accepts and plays the game. When François returns to Roma, he organizes a party to celebrate his 50th birthday. Fortuitously, he discovers where Cedric's father lives. Solitary, stubborn and impulsive, Cedric leaves everything behind him to search his father and meet with his best friend. Concerning François, he is friend with Flora, one of his clients. She hires him to make sure that her husband - who became suddenly violent - is faithful. Cedric meets Flora during the birthday party. They are attracted to each other. However, Cedric refuses to continue this passion, between fear and cowardice. Sun in our eyes is a movie about journeys, loneliness and otherness.
