Wholeheartedly (2019)

Wholeheartedly is a short movie about topics like love, immigration, and alcoholism. The film wants the audience to take a moment and focus on Carmen's story. Carmen lives a world that many consider normal. She is a Mexican immigrant in Los Angeles; here, she struggles to find a way to earn money to send back to her mother, who is in Mexico. One day, Carmen meets Robert, and a love story begins. The love between Carmen and Robert is pure and real but hides the seeds of insecurity. Now Carmen is pregnant, and Robert's problem with alcoholism pushes him into a spiral of self-destruction.
