The Secret (2019)

This is a socially-relevant short film, inspired by true events in the United States of America. The short revolves around a street-smart mother and how she trains her child to be aware of the darker side of society. The film begins with a man who is attempting to deliver a consignment to a demanding client on a tight deadline. It's only in the pre-climax that it is revealed that his consignment is a little girl and that he is a child trafficker. The film ends with him being outsmarted by his target - the little girl - using a very simple but effective method, taught by her mother. What method is that? That's the secret.
