Tom is a university student in his early 20's whose parents have recently separated. Reeling from the disintegration of his family, he internalizes all of his emotions, causing him to withdraw from life. When Tom's neighbour and childhood crush Lily returns from backpacking around Europe, she helps Tom come to terms with how he truly feels. Allowing Tom to move forward with his life.
