A passagem de Mael (2014)

Based on the book of the same name. The story tells the life of Mael Gasparini who was born at noon on February 29th. His father, an internationally recognized theologian, presents him with a book, which Mael must read only under one special condition: the death of his father. Months after this happens, Mael decides to spend his 27th birthday in a cabin in the middle of the forest so that he can read the book quietly. But suddenly his life changes completely and he wakes up in the midst of an epic world, where the world he once knew is no longer the same, now he lives under long-lost culture and values: honor, friendship and loyalty. Discovering such values, Mael tries to survive in the strange world where an evil spirit uses the most perverse feelings in each being, such as jealousy, anger and betrayal, to unleash another dark spirit, imprisoned long ago, and thus dominate all.
