In a future where the deceased are able to live forever in a computer-generated heaven, a detective obsessed with discovering the truth about his wife's death embarks on a dangerous mission into the artificial afterlife for clues on her murderer - but in the process, discovers a dark secret hidden within the program that threatens the system.
