After the shooting of a innocent boy, two police officers Bill and Blake explore these questions and come up with an answer: one that is frustrating, sobering and, overall, life-preserving. As broad as these two arenas are, the angle that each is given in the film to support the story offers a deep cutting commentary on how our mistakes can shape us and what we'd have to do in order to overcome the negative influences that can push us into a dark, hopeless, existential hole as well as a possible answer to the questions.
