Midnight Mind (2019)

"Hear the rain falling down - streams on the windows. Feel the clouds rolling by - grey against your midnight mind." These are the opening lyrics to the song and music video for "Midnight Mind." This piece was composed and performed by filmmaker and musician, Mara Katria (who likewise wrote/directed/edited the film) and features J. Jeff Ungar, with music e-mastered at Real World Studios. "Midnight Mind" was envisioned as an authentic, human story - a short film which intentions to explore the latent beauty in the proverbial darkness, the give and take of the winds of change. Katria hopes the song and film will act as a mirror to reflect possible perspectives through which we consider pain and perseverance - ours and each other's - alone and not-alone.
