Sanità neighborhood in Naples is a small area of the historical center infamously known only for its high crime and unemployment rate and for the camorra feuds that stained its streets with blood. Over the years, these factors have isolated this neighborhood from the rest of the city to convert it into a ghetto. Since the early 2000s, a unique process of urban and cultural regeneration has taken place here thanks to the contribution of several associations led by father Antonio Loffredo, the parson of the area. He chose to start from the last ones, the discarded stones that became cornerstones, and created a labyrinth of cooperatives and unions that constantly work with and for this neighborhood to change its fame and essence. This documentary analyses the "development system" -as many scholars and politicians have defined it- through the voices of its protagonists who prove that this model can be applied in other contexts as well.
