During the 16th and 17th centuries, groups of settlers organized themselves in armed expeditions to explore the countryside of Brazil. Those expeditions left from the village of São Paulo and its surroundings, and were later called Entradas and Bandeiras. This film intends to reflect on the construction and perpetuation of the Bandeirante myth in contemporary Brazil, through a narrative composed by the comparison of historical texts and reports of one of the nations who suffered most with colonization, and who have so far resisted peacefully fighting for their rights to their lands, culture and bodies: the Guarani from Mato Grosso do Sul and Paraguay.
