Tamara Thacher Celebration of Life (2019)

Live television coverage of the Sacramento Fire Department's memorial service for 31-year veteran fire fighter Tamera (Tami) Thatcher who died of cancer Nov. 25, 2019. A Pipe and Drum Corps, honor guard, flag presentation, and other ceremonial elements are covered. The Fire Department chaplain, fire chief and a family member are featured speaker. A memorial salute video from those who knew her is included. An estimated 700 fire fighters and another 800 members of the public gather for a dramatic ceremony with live television coverage provided by Access Sacramento.
