Praying to the Wind (2018)

An old woman who was caught in an extreme situation which forced her to crush her saintly beliefs and surpass her own physical limits in order to rescue her grandson. The main character has to choose between what matters and what does not and in the end she decides to live out her own destiny by taking action. The moment she takes down the door, she is dismantling her own faith and at the same time she is showing her complete change of heart. My main motivation when I was writing this story was that I was not taking part in any religious way. As a writer and director the only thing I am doing is presenting the character, it's environment, it's external and internal conflict for the audience to reflect. "Praying to the wind" sparks questions that imply personal answers.
