Ethics Symposium: The Ethics of Having Children (2019)

In a live television broadcast, the Cosumnes River College Philosophy Department and the California State University, Sacramento Center for Practical and Professional Ethics presents speakers as part of the 14th annual Fall Ethics Symposium. Under the general title of "The Ethics of Having Children," three primary speakers made presentations followed by a short panel with questions and answers. The three topics were: "Giving Birth while Black: Racial disparities in maternal mortality rates and what it means for black womanhood," ""Should Parents Instill Their Values in Their Children?" and "The Duty to Adopt."
