The Mirage (2016)

Mirage means an optical illusion caused by atmospheric conditions, especially the appearance of a sheet of water in a desert or on a hot road caused by the refraction of light from the sky by heated air .In this short film the term" Mirage "is represented as an unrealistic hope or wish that cannot be achieved by the actor .In this short film the hope of sanctuary initially proved to be a mirage . A maid in shabby hotel washing dishes and full of disparity dreams of having a corporate job, a good car and a good lifestyle. The distance between her dream and her struggle is huge and thus the dream seems to be a Mirage. Dreams are important because dreams are thoughts so that waking stream of thought that was using words and that one's conscious mind had control of is now controlled by one's inner subconscious mind and is no longer using just words but is also using images, experiences and emotions. The appearance of the water is simply an illusion similarly the dream of the girl in a big car , good clothes and having a good life seemed to be a mirage at the crucial moment of her life .
