Green Thumb (2019)

Jasmine Bursland is a down on her luck gardener and environmental activist. When a new oil rig starts drilling in her neighborhood, and her timeshare guests turn out to be materialistic consumers, she has visit from the ghost of Thomas Malthus, who tells her it is up to her to "Pull ze weeds!" Jasmine gets busy dispensing environmental justice at a personal level, reducing population pressures while simultaneously fertilizing her garden.
