Fern Hill (2019)

Jasmine (13) and Annie (7) are two sisters who are frequently late for school every morning. Their mother and father are fed up with starting their day this way, rushing the two off to school every morning. One morning, after missing their bus, the kids are scared to return back home, so instead they decide to spend the day at the park. The park is a wonderland for the kids, too beautiful, free and mesmerizing. They enjoy the winter sun and savour their freedom. It becomes an opportunity for Annie to bond with her elder sister, but her attempts prove futile. Feeling desolate, she decides to rebel and escape her sister's shadow. Annie's novice mistake makes Jasmine experience a feeling far beyond her age.
