Outside the Angel City (2019)

When he learns his mother is dying, Daniel drives out to the desert to convince his estranged sister, Audrey, to see her before she dies. Daniel has not seen or heard from Audrey in six years, and is faced with the difficult task of convincing his sister to visit the mom who abandoned her. Through this journey, Daniel is forced to confront his traumatic past and his own hypocrisy. He must decide where his true values lie.
