The African Tale (1963)

The Black man lived on his land, it generously gave him its fruits, for "he worked in the sweat of his face." But once, a White Elephant appeared on this earth with the words "what a rich land, I'm damn lucky to be the first of the animals here." The elephant treated the Man with a cigarette, gave him glossy magazines with beauties on the covers and bright advertisements. While the Man flipping through magazines joined the "high civilization", Mr. Elephant unceremoniously gobbled up everything that he could and occupied the owner's house.
