Next Generation (2019)

A fascinating personal journey that tells the story of the families of prominent Israeli journalists and book author Oshrat Kotler and former Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabi Ashkenazi. Together with them we discover the unique history of the people who rescued the entire Jewish population of Bulgaria during World War II and because of their actions, offered a chance to the next generations. This is not a historical film, but rather an intimate and emotional search of two people looking for their family roots while revealing little-known aspects of the history of Bulgaria during World War II.
