"Shattered" explores the lengths individuals will go to in order to hide their true self. The film follows a day in the life of highly successful criminal defence lawyer, Robert James Crampton. Over the course of this day, Robert is forced to confront his demons and make the ultimate decision: to continue living behind a facade or accept himself for who he is. Glass and its reflective properties are used as a motif throughout the film, specifically, that glass appears to be strong, protective and transparent but in reality, is fragile and easily shattered. The film also explores the disruptive impact modern day technology has on our everyday lives. "Shattered" is written by and starring Max McGee and directed by Tony McGee. The film was shot in the City of London and makes great use of its rapidly expanding architectural landscape.
