Yanks for Stalin (1999)

Documentary about American expatriate workers in the Soviet Union during the Great Depression. They were put to work in Joseph Stalin's five-year plans. The documentary examines the working conditions they faced, and how "Men froze, hungered and suffered". Construction work went on without any regard for the cost in lives.
