The Banshees of Inisherin (2022)

Two lifelong friends find themselves in a very complicated situation when one of them cuts ties with the other, giving no explanation whatsover. When the friend does not understand why he is being cut out, he hopes to mend things and aims to do that, but without knowing the dangerous consequences that could be on the way. With outstanding performances by both lead actors, this is more than an emotional movie, it is an spiritual journey and a deep metaphor about extremely difficult times in the history of Ireland.
