Ash and Pikachu visit the Okoya Forest, a protected sanctuary for Pokémon species. They encounter a Pokémon called Zarude, who can control vines. Zarude wants to be reunited with a boy named Koko, who adopt her and left her in the forest. However, trouble arises when a powerful businessman named Dr. Zed and his team intent to capture Zarude.
