Formed in a broken bedroom in Bristol, on the verge of homelessness, and rife with anger, The Menstrual Cramps were born. Following the steps of Kathleen Hannah and the Riot Grrrl movement, The Menstrual Cramps aspire to confront gender norms and empower women to break free from the patriarchy and speak their mind up. The film follows the lives of The Menstrual Cramps on and off stage, the battles with the Neo-nazis and the hardships of being a female punk band.
