A dapper, elderly birdwatcher who frequents a deserted stretch of seashore encounters a mysterious figure who may or may not be someone from his distant past. Gorgeous seascapes, a hint of magic realism, wonderful acting, and a haunting score combine to create a visual poem about loss, dreams, perception, and memories made tangible.
